Responsibilities
-
Provide technical expertise to perform injection and offtake capacity, helping current or future customers navigate interconnection processes and grid integration challenges.

Work closely with internal teams—including product, engineering, and client success - to refine SaaS tools that enhance interconnection analysis and reporting.
-
Create technical content for white papers, blogs, and other sales and marketing materials that communicate LandGate's core value proposition with insights on interconnection challenges and solutions.
-
Analyze and interpret interconnection tariffs, business practice manuals, queue data, and utility system conditions to advise customers on optimal project siting and feasibility.

Develop and deliver technical materials, training, and presentations to customers, equipping them with insights on interconnection constraints and opportunities.

Conduct and review power flow studies, interconnection feasibility assessments, and system impact reports to support customer decision-making.

Quality control of transmission reports, reported capacities, and grid infrastructure data
-
Support internal and external sales efforts with technical expertise related to grid infrastructure and injection/offtake capacity studies
-
Track RTO and utility planning process and update LandGates processes and tools to be consistent with latest industry standards and business practices

Mentor junior employees and share expertise across business units

Participate in sales and support calls as needed

Maintain a professional workspace free from disruptions and distractions

Qualifications & More Details
Education:
-
Knowledge of utility system operation, and interconnection process
-
Software knowledge - PSSe, PSLF, Powerworld, TARA, UPLAN, Promod, Gridview
-
Expertise in steady state analysis
-
Voltage and Dynamic stability expertise preferred
-
Detailed knowledge of power load flow modeling and analysing study results
-
Working knowledge of high voltage equipment
-
Ability to provide concise feedback on technical subjects and technical analysis to non- technical personnel
-
Familiarity with SCADA equipment & communications preferred
-
Ability to develop scopes of work for outside consultants and contractors

Knowledge & Skills:

Experience with ERCOT planning and interconnection studies required

Knowledge of utility system operation, and interconnection process

Compensation
LandGate offers a very competitive salary (commensurate with experience), commission, bonus, and shares providing ownership in the company.
